Qualifications:
High School Diploma required; B.S. in Engineering, Geoscience or Environmental Science degree desirable. Minimum of four years’ experience in oil and gas construction activity specifically for environmental soil assessment and remediation is required. 40-hour OSHA training with Hazmat preferred or training will be provided. Experience in environmental consulting or related experience preferred. Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (TX/NM) preferred. Experience with site remediation, field sampling techniques, and contractor oversight required. Experience or a general knowledge with ArcGIS or Google Earth software a plus.
Field work will primarily be in West Texas and southeastern New Mexico area but some overnight travel may be required. Field work will be primarily outdoors, exposed to varying weather conditions, possibly wearing FRC clothing.
Applicants should be fluent in the English language and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Applicants should possess basic computer skills, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently. Computer Skills must include Microsoft Windows Word and Excel.
