ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Structural Engineering (BS or higher from an ABET accredited institution).

A master’s degree is preferred
-
10-15 years progressive professional
-
Registration as a Professional Engineer is required
-
The successful candidate should be proficient in using engineering analytical software, AutoCAD design software, and progressive experience demonstrated facility in development of new capabilities.

Hazwoper trainingPREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

Design and construction of industrial buildings and foundations, tower foundations, marine structures, process plant facility design, earth retaining structures, deep and shallow foundations, foundation underpinning, dewatering, civil drainage and grading, stormwater facilities, geotechnical investigation, soil and groundwater remediation systems, and renewable energy projects

Demonstrated ability in the application of engineering principles to novel and challenging projects

Experience in managing multi-disciplinary design involving civil, structural, environmental aspects.

Forensic evaluation and remedial design

Participation in professional organizations and publicationThe selected candidates should enjoy solving problems, working on multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion, applying advanced engineering principles in novel applications, keeping abreast of current technology, and being part of a motivated and highly skilled team.
