Energy Specialist - Moldova
Essential KSA's required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, law, energy policy or other field directly related to energy sector reform.
- 5+ years of progressive experience working on energy sector reform projects
- A deep understanding of, and experience working in, Moldova’s power sector.
- Knowledge of EU energy acquis, and experience with transposition to Moldovan legislation.
- Preferably experience with (i) market coupling and regional integration; and/or (ii) renewable project development.
- Experience with implementation of measures to attract private sector investment to emerging market countries, such as developing energy sector policies and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with government officials and other essential power sector stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively to build consensus and lead various energy sector stakeholders and/or project team members towards a common goal.
- A proven record of excellent management, strong administrative and organizational skills, strategic thinking and decision-making, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, including being a strong writer and articulate speaker
- Language: Fluency in English and Romanian is required with strong oral and written presentation skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Experience in the gas sector a plus
