Energy Routing/Siting/Permitting Project Manager (Remote) MA, NJ, PA, VA
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land use planning, geography, biology, engineering or other environmental related degree.
- Minimum of 3+ years of routing and siting project management experience.
- Exhibit solid, practical skills in Microsoft Office applications (spreadsheet (Excel), word processing (Word), scheduling (Project).
- Solid understanding of GIS software for use in routing and siting of transmission projects.
- Expertise in routing and siting approaches, processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Expertise in the development and completion of state utility commission routing and siting applications.
- Ability to research, interpret, and implement federal, state, and local regulations on a project-specific basis to assess project permitting feasibility and requirements, and interface with regulatory agencies.
- Ability to coordinate and lead the preparation of proposals, environmental reports and permit applications through collection, management, and analysis of environmental data and information.
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to utilize critical thinking, a flexible approach to problem solving, excellent interpersonal communication (oral and written), planning, and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
