Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business administration, accounting, international development, or related field is required; advanced degree desired.
  • Eight years progressive management experience in donor-funded project administration and backstopping, including operations, finance, compliance, and grants administration, including five years on USAID-funded contracts.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for budget management, with experience using QuickBooks preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of FAR, AIDAR, ADS, and USAID procurement regulations (22 CFR 228).
  • Experience managing and supervising finance and administrative staff.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations for the North Macedonia as they apply to contracts, payroll, and other payments, preferred.
  • Previous experience working on a USAID-funded projects required.
  • Fluency (speaking, reading, and writing) in Macedonian and working proficiency in English required.
