Cross Border Energy Specialist - Bangladesh
Essential KSA’s required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):
- Masters’ degree (or equivalent) in energy engineering/engineering, energy management, energy planning, energy economics or related fields with 5+ years OR Bachelors’ degree (or equivalent) with 7+ years of progressive experience working on energy sector.
- Working experience in Bangladesh transmission sector and deep understanding of relevant policies, grid code and regional energy market.
- Advanced knowledge of electricity utility business and understanding of concepts and systems related to transmission and distribution in Bangladesh.
- Knowledge and understanding of power sector planning, integrated resource planning concepts, standards, guidelines.
- A deep understanding of, and/or experience working in, Bangladesh’s power sector.
- Understanding of grid stability and grid integration of renewable energy.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with government officials and other essential power sector stakeholders.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and oral presentation) and Bangla.
