Tetra Tech is currently seeking a Corporate Health & Safety Representative to work in our Pasadena, CA corporate headquarters.

In this position you will work with the corporate safety office and health and safety subject matter experts throughout the organization to develop and support health and safety initiatives to drive continual program improvement and the prevention of injuries.

Responsibilities:
  • Support enterprise wide health & safety program development.
  • Assist with incident metrics reporting, trending and analysis of data.
  • Provide business development and proposal support.
  • Support operations safety updates and Tetra Tech Safety Council calls
    Develop health & safety training using computer based training software
  • Maximize program efficiency by working with operations to minimize duplicative safety efforts Manage third party subcontractor management accounts and H&S intranet site.
  • Provide safety and industrial hygiene support for local projects as needed

Qualifications:

Requirements: You must have a solid grasp of Health & Safety standards along with compliance program development and audit skills. Training development and delivery using various learning methods. Experience in hazard identification and assessment and applicable control methods. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and computer based training and development programs i.e. Captivate software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupation Health related studies.
  • 5-10 years of experience as a mid-level Health & Safety professional.
  • CSP or CIH Certification preferred but not required.
