MEL/Knowledge Management Advisor, USAID Himaya Activity, Amman, Jordan

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, social work, communications, public health, international development or related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
• Familiarity with the concept of learning, adaptive management (CLA) and demonstrated experience using a mix of informational sources and research methods to analyze project progress, communicate findings to a range of external and internal stakeholders, and apply learning to work planning.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in designing and implementing knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation data, and communications on donor-funded projects; experience must include a minimum of three (3) years using CLA principles and approaches on a USAID-funded project.
• Proven leadership in supervising staff and convening people across technical teams to build consensus and achieve an outcome.
• Knowledge of approaches to overcoming barriers for marginalized populations to access to justice and issues impacting survivors of Sexual & Gender-Based Violence (SGBV).
• Fluency in English and Arabic including strong writing skills required.
