Entry Level Civil Engineer

Requirements:
•  Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. 
•  Master’s degree in civil engineering is a plus.
•  0 - 5 years of experience working in Civil design related areas including structural and infrastructure design with an emphasis in concrete and steel design.  
•  Demonstrated understanding of structural engineering principles and experience using appropriate design codes and construction practices. 
•  Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and have Engineering in Training (EIT) certification.
•  Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plus.
•  Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D is required (2011 - 2018).
•  Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).


Mid-Level Civil Engineer

Requirements:
•  Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
•  Master’s degree in civil engineering is a plus.
•  Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) license.
•  5 - 10 years of experience working in the civil and/or structural engineering field. 
•  Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D is required (2011 - 2018).
•  Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project).
•  Strong and creative problem-solving ability.
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•  Ability to prepare detailed reports, business correspondence, and procedures for clients, project managers and engineering staff.  
•  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, coworkers, and the general public.  
•  In-depth knowledge of civil engineering disciplines, principles and practices, and construction specifications and construction documents.
•  Able to mentor more junior team members.


Other Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
•  Experience in civil and structural engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, and procedures within the engineering services industry.
•  Knowledge of engineering standards, codes.
•  Experience developing specifications and other requirements for issue for tenders and construction for civil infrastructure /structural works. 
•  Ability to work independently or in a team environment to deliver projects of varying complexity or products that exceeds client expectations.
•  Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. 
•  Experienced in concrete and steel design, transportation design, site design, and erosion and sediment control.
•  Must be proficient and literate in engineering analysis and design software.   
•  Other duties may include performing quantity calculations, soil sampling, report preparation, standard engineering details, CAD design, performing and checking engineering calculations and attention to detail.
