Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience with both office and field assignments.
  • PE or FE working towards licensure preferred.
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
  • Experience with drainage design and floodplain modeling.
  • Familiarity with using MSOffice Suite for spreadsheets and other document types.
  • Client contact and project coordination is required.
  • A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (Moderate Work)

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

 

Light Work Category:

  • The employee exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
  • The employee is required to stand, walk, or sit. Also, needs to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
  • Ability to hike up to one mile over varied terrain including canyons.

 

General:

  • This job description reflects management's current assignment of essential functions and nothing in this herein restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
  • The qualified candidate will primarily support Surface Water Monitoring and Storm Water Corrective Actions. In addition, support may be required by the Drilling and Well Maintenance, Groundwater Monitoring, and Remediation Services.
  • The qualified candidate may be required to attain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • Individuals must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Individual must pass a pre-employment drug screen and accept all company policies
  • This position may require a physical fit-for-duty screen as well.
