Chief of Party - Kazakhstan
Essential KSA’s required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, engineering, economics, finance, policy, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience managing international development projects, of which 10+ years on USAID-funded projects.
- Knowledge and experience of energy sector is a requirement, but it may be compensated by demonstrable leadership, communication, and project management experience.
- Managerial and leadership experience including at least 5 years as Chief of Party/Deputy Chief of Party in a large-scale economic development, energy, regional projects.
Valued but not required KSA’s:
- Prior experience working in former Soviet republics and knowledge of the Russian language is a plus.
- Prior experience with energy sector reform, restructuring, clean energy and power market development is a strong plus.
