Chemist part time
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university in Chemistry (or related science) required.
• Zero to one-year experience in an analytical laboratory (commercial or research) performing inorganic/organic analyses.
• Familiarity with computer systems and databases required (i.e., experienced in Windows applications [e.g., Word, Excel, Access]).
• Knowledge of EPA Functional guidelines for data validation a plus.
• Knowledge of EPA guidelines for preparation of quality assurance project plans, for identification of project data quality objectives, and for data quality assessment a plus.
• Basic comprehension of EPA RI/FS and RFI/CMS processes a plus.
