Associate Environmental Planner – Irvine, CA
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (i.e. planning, environmental studies, or a closely related discipline)
Technical inquisitiveness, a positive attitude, and an ability to work well in teams are essential.
1-2 years’ experience with environmental and regulatory processes - federal, state and local regulators such as PUC, PSC, FERC, BLM, USFS, USFWS, CDFW, RWQCBs, USACE, as well as experience with NEPA and CEQA
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to utilize critical thinking, excellent writing skills, a flexible approach to problem solving, excellent interpersonal communication (oral and written), planning, and organizational skills; and attention to detail
Competency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
Possess the ability to act independently with task management roles, and a proven commitment to quality management, continuous improvement and client satisfaction
Ability and interest in working as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment with the capability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
