Assistant Project Manager/Planner (SJC)
Qualifications/Requirements
-8+ years of experience in HUD CPD Programs, specific to
CDBG/CDBG-DR, preferably working in the grant process including sub-recipient
programs for Housing and Infrastructure.
-Prior experience working on federal CDBG-DR Programs and
client support contracts is required; HUD CPD Program experience is highly
desired.
-Project management skills related to disaster recovery (CDBG-DR/FEMA)
services is required; program management related experience is a plus.
Education and Experience:
-BS degree is required. Advanced degree is a plus,
preferably a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA) or equivalent is
preferred.
-Experience in HUD Community Planning and Development (CPD) and
housing programs desired, with familiarity with CPD Action Planning, Project
Close-out and Audit, HUG OIG process, and work with HUD CPD Housing “National
Objectives” and “Eligible Criteria” standards desired.
-PMP Certification is a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The APM-P is required to lead project teams comprised of
technical staff from various departments or from other Tt offices that may not
be direct reports. Will work with on site Program and Project Managers directly
with government clients and support staff. Provide extensive direct development
of data-analytic products and supervise data management to define high levels
of accuracy and in many levels of reporting. Manage “Program System of Record”
to define program/project accomplishments.
