Assistant Engineer – Part-time

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related Engineering Degree from an ABET-accredited institution

• Prior experience in civil or environmental engineering preferred, specifically with renewable energy projects, site remediation, and/or remediation system design and implementation

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills and computer skills (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC RAS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), and demonstrated ability to use engineering computer programs for design

• Able to work independently as well as part of a project team 

• Candidate must have a valid driver's license, meet Tetra Tech's internal criteria for driving to field locations, and be physically able to work in the field

• Some travel will also be required

• Up-to-date OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training (original 40 hour and subsequent refreshers) preferred.
