The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor degree or held an FAA certificate as an Air Traffic Controller, navigator or was qualified as a Navigator/Bombardier in military or held an FAA certificate as a dispatcher for an air carrier.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a military or civilian air traffic facility or experience that included a comprehensive knowledge of appropriate air traffic control laws, rules, regulations, navigational aids, air routes.
- Successfully completed the FAA Basic Obstruction Evaluation Course.
- At least 2 years of experience working as an Obstruction Evaluation Specialist or Obstruction Evaluation Technician
- A comprehensive knowledge of Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR), Part 77 notice criteria for construction or alteration of certain structures in the National Airspace System (NAS) as it relates to the function of the Obstruction Evaluation Groups responsibilities for processing 14 CFR Part 77 applications.
- Practical experience in the application of Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR), Part 77 notice criteria for construction or alteration of certain structures in the National Airspace System (NAS).
- Practical experience in the use of the iOEAAA system as it relates to the function of the Obstruction Evaluation Groups responsibilities for processing applications under 14 CFR Part 77.
