Sustainable Energy Sr. Associate - Europe/Remote

 Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, or environmental sciences
• 5 years of progressive consulting experience in the energy sector, preferably with experience working with a variety of clients, to include MDBs (multilateral development banks) and donors.
• 1 year of experience on energy efficiency projects identification and development (buildings and/or industrial).
• 1 year of experience on international technical assistance projects involving energy services and/or sustainable energy financing.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Willingness to travel internationally to project locations and conferences.  
• 1 year of experience in the Western Balkans and Eastern Europe. 
• Oral and written communication skills in German, French or Spanish or Russian.
• A deep understanding of clean energy technologies and lifecycles.
• Understanding of the European sustainable energy market, and related regulatory framework (energy acquis).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
