Senior Gender and Inclusivity Responsive Consultant, TAG Colombo

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in economics or related subject is required.
• Minimum five years of experience working in the sector at an advisory and/or analytic capacity on the subject is required.
• Experience with USAID and/or other donors or development partners in related field is required.
• Experience working at regional level and/or in-country level, specifically with parliamentarians and the executive on the subject of gender mainstreaming and inclusive budgeting is preferred.
• Experience in training and communicating effectively to others preferred.
• Experience with publication of research and analytic work on the subject.
• Understanding of gender mainstreaming in high level parliamentary/governmental processes is required.
• Ability to travel if needed is required.
• Fluency in English and one national language, such as Sinhala or Tamil, required. Proficiency in a second national language, such as Sinhala or Tamil, desired.
