Tetra Tech International Development is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a Recruitment Marketing Specialist to support the Global Talent Operations (GTO) Team.
Position Description: GTO supports the recruitment and retention of fellow highly qualified staff for Tetra Tech’s Home Office and new business efforts and current projects within our five international development practice areas including Agriculture & Food Security; Democracy, Rights & Governance; Environment & Natural Resources; Land Tenure & Property Rights; and Water Security, Sanitation & Hygiene.
Reporting to the Director of GTO, the Recruitment Marketing Specialist is equal parts writer, editor, project manager, technical systems guide, and social media enthusiast. They support the preparation, publishing, monitoring and marketing of Tetra Tech’s job requisitions for new business efforts, current projects, and home office teams. In partnership with the Communications Team, they compose compelling social media content advertising opportunities as well as regularly research and coordinate with global venues for job posting. The Recruitment Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in the formulation of Tetra Tech’s recruitment strategy as they track and communicate the performance of various job postings and recruitment activities. Additionally, they provide staff involved in recruitment efforts with on-going technical support and mentoring related to navigating our recruitment systems, best practices in recruitment and marketing, and compliance with internal, national, and global recruitment policies and procedures.
This is a highly collaborative position that works closely with Human Resources, Corporate and Global Development Services marketing teams, corporate systems vendors and global vendors, home office staff, and project teams from around the world. The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, bring global and cultural acumen, strong writing and communications abilities, and exceptional customer service skills, and enjoy working as part of a team. The position can be fully remote from a continental US-based location or hybrid within a commutable distance to either one of our office locations in Winooski, VT or Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities:
* Post all job requisitions on Tetra Tech company website, social media platforms, and external job sites, ensuring consistency with standard corporate format and EEO compliance.
* In partnership with hiring teams, monitor requisition deadlines, remove/repost/refresh requisitions as needed, and perform all requisition closing procedures in a timely manner and in compliance with internal procedures and affirmative action policies.
* Compose and manage compelling content for social media advertising in partnership with technical sector directors and Communications Team.
* Support the GTO team, outlining strategies and social media tactics to find, attract, engage and nurture potential consultants and contract employees to improve our talent pipelines across operations; build technical capacity of teams in usage of recruitment systems.
* Take the lead on researching and contracting in-country and practice area-specific job posting venues (newspapers, websites, newsletters, associations, networks, groups, etc.) for proposal and project teams to share opportunities; maintain database of contact information, costs and ROI.
* Participate in external outreach events with the company, including career fairs, career panels, engaging with candidates who reach out to us, etc.
* Compile job posting performance analytics on a quarterly basis and develop communications to present to stakeholders (hiring teams and management).
* Design and update technical documents and guides, SOPs, and training materials as needed for internal team and broader staff usage related to navigating recruitment platforms and processes.
* Support the development of New Business products (i.e. recruitment brochures to market project positions on scoping trips) and contribute recruitment-related insights to Human Resources Community of Practice and newsletter.
* Provide on-going technical support to home office and project staff involved in recruitment efforts, including hands-on change-management support ensuring the adoption of talent acquisition policy, procedural and/or system changes.
* Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling monthly recruitment staff meetings; maintaining advertising databases and posting trackers; completing expense reports for external ad postings in a timely manner; helping to translate documents and templates as needed; and maintaining our social media calendar in partnership with the Communications Team.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
* Minimum bachelor’s degree in human resources, journalism, communications, or marketing.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in communications and marketing, preferably in a human resources office or staffing environment.
* Relevant experience in international development desired (service in a volunteer program is considered relevant).
* Working knowledge of social media skills, strategies, and platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook) is required (high proficiency preferred and preferably in a recruitment or human resources capacity).
* Working knowledge of publishing software, particularly Canva, is preferred.
* Polished writing abilities with demonstrated ability to compose clear internal and external written and verbal communications; experience developing technical guidance and training materials preferred.
* Experience developing digital media content preferred.
* Exemplary professionalism and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with leadership is critical.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Demonstrated effective and cultural sensitivity skills interacting with external and internal clients in the international development arena.
* Proven technical agility, adaptability, and willingness to learn new skills and systems.
* Flexible and able to shift with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Speaking and reading proficiency in a second language preferred; Arabic, Spanish or French highly preferred.
* Current U.S. work authorization is required at the time of application.

We are committed to taking a thoughtful, compliant and equitable approach to employment compensation and rate setting. The anticipated pay range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 annually.
