Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, nutrition, or other relevant disciplines required. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in planning, programming, implementation of programs focused on Health and Nutrition required.
  • Experience in at least two or more of the following areas required: public health nutrition research and/or implementation; nutrition programming including in humanitarian and emergency contexts; prevention and management of all forms of malnutrition; service delivery of essential maternal and child nutrition interventions; nutrition activities focused on Severe Acute Malnutrition, Community Based Management of Acute Malnutrition, Moderate Acute Malnutrition and Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies; and government or non-government organization in planning, implementing, and monitoring of nutrition essential interventions.
  • Experience working on assignments that have delivered high quality reports to USAID and/or other donors required.
  • Experience working with USAID and/or other international donors required.
  • Experience working in a humanitarian context is preferred.
  • Experience working as part of a multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Understanding of the CAR context, prefectures/sub-prefectures where monitoring activities are being conducted.
  • Strong oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, attention to detail, organizational, and team management skills required.
  • Fluency in French required. Advanced level English preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Licence universitaire en santé publique et nutrition, ou dans d’autres disciplines pertinentes requis. Un Master en nutrition est préférable.
  • Cinq ans d’expérience professionnelle dans la planification, la programmation, la mise en œuvre de programmes axes sur la santé et la nutrition. Une expérience de travail dans un contexte humanitaire est préférable.
  • L’expérience de travail technique pertinente requis dans au moins deux des domaines suivants: recherche et/ou mise en œuvre de la nutrition en santé publique; programmation nutritionnelle, y compris dans les contextes humanitaires et d’urgence; prevention et prise en charge de toutes les formes de malnutrition; prestation des services d’interventions essentielles en matière de nutrition maternelle et infantile; activités de nutrition axées sur Severe Acute Malnutrition, Community Based Management of Acute Malnutrition, Moderate Acute Malnutrition and Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies; et expérience d’un gouvernement ou d’une organisation non gouvernementale dans la planification, la mise en œuvre et le suivi d’interventions essentielles en nutrition. 
  • Connaissance du contexte local, des préfectures/sous-prefecture ou les activités de suivi sont menées.
  • Avoir un record de travail sur des missions qui ont fourni des rapports de haute qualité à USAID et/ou à d’autres donateurs requis.
  • Expérience de travail avec USAID et/ou d’autres donateurs internationaux requis.
    Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite, en analyse, en relations interpersonnelles et en gestion d’équipe.
  • Excellent sens du détail et de l’organisation requis.
  • Maîtrise du français requise. Anglais de niveau avancé préféré.
