Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, political science, social science, government, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum three years of professional experience is required.
  • Experience in the evaluation of programs, social projects, or public policies highly desired.
  • Experience in field research with qualitative or quantitative statistical or econometric methodologies, including the development of research reports, is highly desired.
  • Experience with NGOs, international contractors, multilateral institutions, or international cooperation agencies.
  • Knowledge and experience with the development and evaluation of impact-oriented projects is desired.
  • Knowledge of the Guatemalan reality, mainly of the region to which it applies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced level with Excel required.
  • Ability to keep information confidential and work with a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to write executive reports.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Strong written and oral expression, synthesis, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required. Proficiency in English is highly desirable.

Calificaciones:

  • Licenciatura en economía, ciencias políticas, sociales, gobierno, o un campo relacionado es requerido.
  • Mínimo tres años de experiencia profesional es requerido.

  • Experiencia en investigación en campo con metodologías cualitativas o cuantitativas estadísticas o econométricas, incluyendo el desarrollo de informes de investigación, es altamente deseado.
  • Experiencia con ONG, contratistas internacionales, instituciones multilaterales u organismos de cooperación internacional.
  • Conocimiento y experiencia con el desarrollo y la evaluación de proyectos orientados al impacto, es deseable.
  • Se requiere competencia en Microsoft Office Suite, nivel avanzado con Excel.
  • Capacidad para mantener información confidencial y trabajar con una amplia variedad de personas de diversos orígenes.
  • Expresión escrita, expresión oral, y capacidad de síntesis y analítica.
  • Conocimiento de la realidad guatemalteca, principalmente de la región a la que aplica.
  • Capacidad de redactar informes ejecutivos.
  • Buenas relaciones interpersonales.
  • Capacidad de trabajar en equipo.
  • Dominio del Español es requerido. Dominio del inglés es altamente deseable.
