Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law or related fields required. Master’s degree in human rights, international law, or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in case law analysis, ideally on topics related to freedom of expression, human rights, and the protection of journalists and human rights defenders required.
  • Familiarity with international and regional human rights frameworks, particularly those of the Inter-American Court, European Court of Human Rights, and the UN Human Rights Committee preferred.
  • Strong skills in legal analysis, report writing, and formulating practical recommendations required.
  • Fluency in Spanish required.

Requisitos Profesionales:

  • Licenciatura en derecho o áreas afines requerida. Maestría en derechos humanos, derecho internacional, o áreas afines preferido.
  • Mínimo cinco años de experiencia en análisis de jurisprudencia, preferiblemente en temas relacionados con la libertad de expresión, derechos humanos, defensa de periodistas y personas defensoras de derechos humanos requerida.
  • Familiaridad con el marco legal internacional y regional de protección de derechos humanos, particularmente en la Corte IDH, TEDH, Comité de Derechos Humanos de la ONU, entre otros.
  • Excelente capacidad de análisis jurídico, redacción de informes y elaboración de recomendaciones prácticas requerida.
  • Fluencia en español requerida.
