Finance Specialist - Ukraine

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics
• At least four (4) years of professional experience in financial, economic, and regulatory analysis of energy sector entities, as well as preparation of related financial models
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles, including IFRS
• Knowledge of Ukrainian national financial accounting, tax, and regulatory regulations
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial and investment reports, statements, and projections
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
• Deep knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to work with a flexible schedule to meet project and client needs
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian (speaking, reading, and writing)

Preferred but Not Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with detailed technical data and reports
• Professional certificates and/or continued education certificates in investment appraisal and/or accounting
• Experience working on USAID or other donor-funded projects
