Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in the field of medicine, public health, international relations, economics, political science, public policy, statistics, and/or other relevant fields is required.  Academic or professional training in baseline and evaluation design and implementation, including data collection and analysis is preferred.
  • Minimum four years of progressive experience in the design and management of data quality assessments, data collection, analysis, and reporting is required.
  • Experience in providing program coordination to include management of scope, budget, timelines, resources, etc. is required.
  • Experience coordinating data collection exercises is required.
  • Experience in working in or with the Mozambican National Health System is preferred.
  • Experience working with USAID funded projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with a diverse set of programming such as health, agriculture, education, or governance required.
  • Familiarity with USAID standard indicators is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of health is required.
  • Knowledge of gender sensitive research processes and methods is preferred.
  • Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Excel or other data analysis software is required.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
