Qualifications:
* Minimum of a master’s degree in international development, economics, public policy, international relations, public administration, law, environmental studies, or another related discipline is required.
* At least 10 years’ project experience in the ASEAN countries, working in one or more technical disciplines: private sector engagement, sustainable economic growth, climate adaptation and resilience public policy, business administration, institutional capacity strengthening and engagement, and/or other relevant technical areas.
* At least 8 years’ experience in a senior management role leading and managing complex development programs and multi-disciplinary teams in the ASEAN countries, for a USAID-funded project or equivalent donor-funded program.
* Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary development programs and teams, engaging effectively with stakeholders, fostering collaborative learning and adaptive management, and promoting gender equity and social inclusion.
* Financial management skills including budgeting, tracking, reporting, and accounting of finances and procurement.
* Strong familiarity with the policy, social, economic, environmental, and cultural context in the ASEAN countries.
* Demonstrated diplomatic skills, meaning experience working in an environment which required frequent negotiations to manage bureaucratic processes.
* Ability to travel frequently throughout Southeast Asia.
* Professional fluency in English required.
* ASEAN countries nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
