Minimum Qualification Requirements:
* Master’s degree in civil engineering, economics, climate sciences, public administration, water resources management, business management, or other relevant fields.
* Minimum of 15 years’ experience, 10 of which should be in international development programming, managing water sector programs in natural resource constrained environments, including: water utility (or other public services) management, public sector reform, or water and wastewater infrastructure development activities.
* Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in leadership positions, equivalent to a Chief of Party, on medium to large-scale USAID-funded projects.
* Strong knowledge of USAID rules and regulations.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior national and local government officials, public interest and community groups, and private industry representatives.
* Previous relevant experience in Egypt and/or the Middle East region.
* Fluency in written and oral English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
